Continuing Education Credits

Continuing Education Credits will be available for both In-Person and Online attendees for IAQ & Energy 2020.

Specific credit information will be posted here once the details are finalized with the various accrediting bodies.  If you don't see here the credits you are looking for, please contact the MIAQC office at 207-626-8115.

Credit Applications for 2020

American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) - Individuals with ACAC Certifications can self-report their credit hours to ACAC to meet their continuing education requirements.  Attendance at each workshop session provides 1.0 hours of credit. Submit your certificate of attendance to ACAC after the conference to obtain credit.

Architects (AIA) –TBA

Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) –  AEE does not pre-approve credits.  Candidates may submit their Certificate of Attendance to AEE for credit consideration.

American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) - TBA

Building Operator Certificants (BOC) – Building Operators Certification Maintenance:  BOC graduates receive one maintenance point for each hour of seminar time. They will just need to list the event and training summary on their Certification Maintenance application when they receive it next year. 

Credits available for in-person attendance, live on-line streaming sessions, as well as post-conference video recordings in 1.0 hour increments. 

Building Performance Institute  (BPI) – TBA

Certified Energy Auditors –Sessions approved by BPI provide credit for certified energy auditors. See BPI.

Codes Enforcement Officers and Third Party Inspectors –  TBA

Engineers – Engineers, including P.E.’s, can self-report their credit hours.  Attendance on Day 1 - October 27 allows for 6 hours.  Attendance on Day 2 - October 28 allows for 5 hours.  A total of 11.0 credit hours are available for two-day attendance.

Credits are available for both in-person attendance and on-line live-streaming sessions. Credits are not available for post-conference video.

 

Home Inspectors – See ASHI above.

Industrial Hygienists – ABIH no longer requires pre-registration of programs.   For those tracking credit hours, Day 1, October 27 provides 6.0 credit hours, and Day 2, October 28 provides 5.0 credit hours for a total of 11.0 credit hours for two-day attendance.

IICRC Credits – Self-submit your Certificate of Attendance to renewals@iicrcnet.org for credit consideration.

Real Estate Professionals - TBA

USGBC – USGBC members can self-report “live presentation credit hours” for attendance at the conference.  Attendance on Day 1 - October 27 provides 6.0 USGBC credit hours, and Day 2 -  provides 5 USGBC credit hours.

A total of 11.0 USGBC credits available for two-day attendance.

Credits are available for in-person attendance.
