Construction methodology continue to build tighter construction for both homes and commercial spaces with heavier insulation, interface joint sealing and tighter woods/doors. We are learning that significant levels of air pollutants generated by people and people’s activities indoors are encapsulated indoors. Americans are spending approximately 90 percent of their time indoors where the air quality can be up to five times worse than outdoor air. The presentation will focus on the Why causing these issues and how ventilation standards are set to change to accommodate remediation of this problem.

Prior to joining RenewAire in 2014, Agopian held high-level positions at several top HVAC corporations, where he expanded his robust industry knowledge and expertise. He was Vice President of Business Development at Circul-Aire, Inc., Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Dectron Internationale and President and General Manager at SEMCO, a Fläkt Woods company. In all those executive roles, he oversaw multiple global sales offices, established new distribution networks, furthered product innovations and drove consistent revenue growth.
Agopian is extremely involved in the engineering and HVAC communities. He’s an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) since 1983, where he sits on numerous technical committees.
