About this program:
The quest to capture the business value of the healthy homes-mega trend has been elusive for many in the home performance sector. But some businesses have cracked the code and are running thriving businesses that are simultaneously addressing indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and comfort. In this panel discussion, successful contractors will share what’s made their companies stand out as pioneers of this new and exciting movement/opportunity. Panelists (confirmed) include Kevin Brenner of Healthy Homes Energy and Consulting and Matt Hargrove of Total Home Performance.

His focus at Healthy Home™ is business development, strategizing and in-house training and mentoring of staff and crews.
Kevin is a true building scientist. When he isn't learning more about building science or building his own Net Zero Energy home, he enjoys American History, water sports and snowboarding.
Matt Hargrove - Matt Hargrove is the President of Total Home Performance (THP), located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. With the help of a few of his close friends, he started Total Home Performance in 2009 out of his parents' garage. The initial concept of Total Home Performance was to offer just an energy audit, but it quickly grew into a full-service home performance company. His team's passion for this industry grew from their love of the environment and a drive to help people. Since day one Matt knew they were going to do more than just help people save energy—they were also going to help their customers make their homes healthier and safer (hence the name Total Home Performance). Today THP is a full-service home performance company offering energy audits, healthy home assessments, humidity and moisture assessments, insulation upgrades, crawl space encapsulation, and mold remediation. THP now employs 48 people and acts as a general contractor, managing a wide array of services from lead and asbestos abatement to roofing. THP is an industry leader in its region, winning multiple awards for quality workmanship, most KwH saved on jobs, and total production within various market rate and low-income energy efficiency and healthy home programs, servicing both single family and multi family dwellings.
