IAQ & Energy is making the following credits available.

National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) Approved for 1 CE credit per radon program- Sessions 242 (Radon Fact or Fiction?) and PR08 (Radon Guide for Health Care Practitioners.)

 

American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for ABIH credits. Self-report with Certificates of Attendance.

American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for ACAC credit.  One hour of credit awarded per session. Self-report with Certificates of Attendance.

 

American Institute of Architects (AIA) - An application has been submitted for live streaming programs.  Pre-recorded programs cannot be approved for AIA credit.

American Society of Home Inspection Professionals (ASHI) All 41 sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 have been approved for continuing education credit.

Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for AEE credit.  You must self report with Certificates of Attendance.  Credits calculated as follows:  Multiply the total number of training/contact hours by 0.2.  Example:  attend/watch 8 contact hours at IAQ & Energy = 1.6 AEE credits.

Building Operator Certification (BOC) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for BOC credits.  One hour of credit award for each session.  Self-report with Certificates of Attendance.

Building Performance Institute (BPI) -  All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 have been approved for BPI credits.  See BPI portal for more credit information. (Credits vary by program)

Code EnforcementAll programs have been approved for credit. Up to 41 credits available.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) - Application processed through University of Maine System, but credits universal to other institutes of higher learning.  Approved for up to 4 CEU's.  Paperwork and Certificates of Attendance must be submitted to the University of Maine.

Continuing Legal Education (Maine) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 have been approved for MCLE credits in Maine, for a total of 41 possible hours of credit.  Program number:  056644. Reciprocity with other states may be available.  Check with your home state.

Energy Auditors - Use BPI above to calculate available credits.

Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 has been submitted for IICRC credits.  Self-report with Certificates of Attendance. Approved for 14 credits. Contact Alison Caulfield, MIAQC Education Coordinator, for submission instructions.)

International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for InterNACHI credits.  One hour of credit awarded for each session attended.  Self-report with Certificates of Attendance.

Maine Board of Pesticides Control:  The following 6 sessions have been approved by the Maine Board of Pesticides.

Professional Engineers (P.E.s) - All sessions at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for P.E. credits.  Available in all states except New York.  Self-report with Certificates of Attendance.

Real Estate (Maine):  Most, but not all, of the sessions at IAQ & Energy have been pre-approved for real estate credits by the Maine Real Estate Commission. (A list of the sessions NOT approved for credit are listed here: Sessions 112, 121, 141, 221, 222, 231, 241, 251, 331, 341   Pre-Recorded Sessions PR-01, PR-05, PR-08, PR-09, PR-11, PR-14, PR-17)

How it works in Maine: You must attend/view a minimum of 18 hours of content in order to obtain your 18 credits. There are 24 real estate approved programs to pick from, and you have until September 1, 2021 to complete your sessions and get your credits. (Note: Student Evaluation of Continuing Education Program forms must be submitted for each program attended. Upon completion of your 18 sessions, contact Alison Caulfield, MIAQC Education Coordinator, for submission instructions.)

These credits may transfer to other states.  Check with your home state. 

U.S. Green Buildings Council (USGBC/LEED)  - Only "live-streamed"sessions on October 27-29, 2020 at IAQ & Energy 2020 qualify for USGBC credit.  Self-report with Certificates of Attendance.

RESNET - Self-submit Certificates of Attendance for CEU consideration.
