Residential Energy Efficiency:

Putting Theories into Practice - Part 2

Bill Spohn - Registered Professional Engineer (PA)

TruTech Tools, LTD, Wexford, PA

About this program:

As a follow up to his presentation at the 2019 event, Bill Spohn will give and update on the journey he and Marilyn are on in building, and now occupying, a new, high performance home.

You will learn the paths they went down (and back!) before arriving at the design (and features) which are now enjoying as homeowners.

A mix of technical and consumer experiences will be shared.

Learning goals

1) How can you apply as many "cutting-edge" techniques and systems without overwhelming your builder

2) What kind of compromises must be made to integrate with available techniques and experience

3) Did the design meet the goals?

4) Lessons learned
